"..It happens to most hunters at some time or other. You hit your target just as dusk is setting in.  By the time you´ve found it, it´s getting dark. At this point, most hunters wish they had three hands:  An extra one for the torch. (light)

And that is the reason why we had the idea of integrating a lamp into the handle of the knife whose beam points along the blade. We are sure you will agree that the "Light Knife" is the right knife.

The torch light requires just two 1.5 V batteries and provides excellent lighting for your work.

The blade, carefully crafted from Sandvik stainless steel, has a cutting ability four times as good as conventional blades (as demonstrated by an independent testing institute in Remscheid, Germany; "Versuchs- und Prüfanstalt, Remscheid"). The blade is a full 120 mm long and is stone-honed before being treated to a leather honing process which creates the extremely sharp cutting edge.

The joint between the blade and the handle has a solid brass bolster to which the precious wood handle is attached. The distance between the torch glass and the blade has been chosen so that the glass does not become soiled while you are working with the knife. The joints within the torch section itself are sealed so that the entire tool can be rinsed under running water.

The torch is switched on and off using the switch integrated in the rear of the handle, which is also a solid brass part.

The overall length of the knife is 250 mm and it weighs 320 gr. with batteries. As you would expect, the tool is made by skilled craftsmen to meet the highest demands.

Just how useful this unique new tool is was the subject of a report by a Game Warden who said, "The´Light Knife` is an excellent aid for the modern hunter. During my daily work, for example. I have found it a great help as a torch when picking up visitors, and of course checking the quality of a shot at dusk or cutting in the dark.I have found the Light Knife to be an ideal huntsman´ s tool.
Gone are the days when I had to keep looking for the torch because I carry this knife, like my hunting knife, on my belt at all times. I wouldn´t change it for another knife for anything. Up to now I´ve cut up 18 pieces of game without having to sharpen the blade. The built-in lamp is excellent, because you can always adjust the reflector to point the beam just where you want it."
